Dear Users!

I got a old DM900 with the following problems:

It can not boot. If somebody pushed the nand BGA it could boot. Maybe wrong soldering. -> OK



But 3 mounts later (now) it can not boot. Does not start even under pressure.

They bought a new EMPTY BGA from ebay and solder it. (that was NOT programmed)

Now I am tring to flash, but I can not see any thing on service in the putty serial connection..


Is it possible to repair? Is it possible to upload rescue image to BGA?

Or we have to solder PREprogrammed BGA on top mainboard?

Hi
it looks that you have a surious hardware issue.
if serial not responding to any command then it's so difficult to assist you .
the solution that you made at the begin it was a temporary method and with time it can cause more problems
to the board BGA contacts.

je partage mon experiance avec vous
cest un defaut de fabrication pour la serie 9000
le problem est de pousser un petite morceux de ferki sur le processeur
ensuite veu devais intervenire ches un tecnicien dinformatique pour le serie tres bien
et voila mon dreambox 9000 et revenu en vie
