I have the same problem, but I can not get the IP adress, and when I use the mini-usb cable the soft optiflasher it not connect to the DM900. what can be??
there is a a specified cable??
what are the COM port config??

My DM900 is original.

Have you installed the usb driver ?
When you connect the box mini usb port with your Pc is there any detection ?

maybe someone can help me it stops at starting recovery. the dm900 is detected and . What files do i need to put on the usb drive. just the recovery file or with folder? been trying to fix for 24 hours and cannot manage. very frustrating

Hi
if your box can't reach the network & there's no ip adress then
you need to use the advanced mode with mini usb cable to get it work .
for instructions same basic as DM900 .
there's a video tutorial for Red Light Fix DM900 you can apply it same.
