i have a dm 500hd clone. it was ok until i tried to flash e second stage on it, and it sad error during flashing. i turned off and on the dreambox and from then when i turn it on show for 1 second the red light and after it stays on green light. i used putty.exe to see the dreambox working it stops on second stage boot. In one forum i read that if you pres "x" it will start working. I pressed "x" and it start loading, in this moment it gets the IP. But the dreambox doesn't load full, it doesn't show anything on screen just the boot logo.

My problem is that i have to open putty though USB and
PC connenction to load it and to get IP. I haved flashed several time though IP, flashed successfully but i have the same problem anyway. My dream box when turned on it stays on the green light on.


Please will you help me?

Dm 500hd sim 2.0 and the problem is as described before/ second stage boot doesnt work as it stays with the green light on, and you have to log on with putty pres "x" not "s" as some forum have written. Then it start loading second stage and after gives another error with hardware

Maybe you was flashed wrong bootloader...
Your box 500HD sim2 so must be flash only bootloader and patched images for sim2 ...

Ok try to fix your box by (Repair [No Ca Found]) method by optiflasher

P.s:your box is 500HD so you need to work both cables to gather (mini usb+lan)
also you can find your box images in images section

As for info my box is a clone named Powerbox 500hd on front and down it is power 500hd. Do you have any info about this? Does it change anything?

Don't be worry and don't thinking more...It's very simple if are you sure your sim is sim2 then box clone as i said in previous replay follow it ...

Second stage loader wasn't found. Don't panic - it's not a (real) problem.
You don't need to repair your Dreambox. It just means that the flashrom with
the graphical menu was erased. You can restore this with a tool like DreamUp
with serial access.
