Latest update as follows for those who have similar problems.
I took my old laptop, running xp. Install all drivers needed for USB to rs232 I use to connect to my dm800.
Then magic just happened so sudden. I used NFC tool and chose sim2 ssl76c.
All went just fine all the way to the message confirming successful repair.
And message on dm changed too, showing IP address 192.168.1.77 (probably factory default) as well as notification #Serial mode#.
Now, I am very reluctant to switch off dm800 since it might go back to no ca found.
So, please could you advice what's the next step I should do to complete such a painstaking journey?
Regards,
