Very happy to hear about this - I've seen a couple of other cases in the forums where boxes have been completely unresponsive, and it does sound like it could be the wrong baudrate!
Also, instead of Hyperterm which I've seen mentioned a few times, I'd like to suggest showing a link to Putty. It includes very good serial support, and can be run without installation. The way putty works also ensures that you can easily verify if the baudrate has dropped to 57600 on the few previously non-responsive "unable to rescue" types of units.
