Clone
Sim 2.10
No CA found, then I tried to flash again with OptiFlasher and I doesn't work

The whole story : I received a fully working DM800HD Clone running on Nemesis 2.4, everything was perfect but I tried to update it to Nemesis2.6-dm800-e2-OE(1.6)-SVN(107r5) and the No CA found appeared..
A friend of my father took it and when I got it back it had no more No CA found but no flashed image either...

So at this point I tried almost everything :
- I did again the No CA found repair through OptiFlasher with Sim 2.01 ssl 84b, it works it shows now Sim team ssl 84b
- I tried to flash with OptiFlasher the BlackHole-1-7-0-dm800HD-ramiMAHER #ssl84b image and 2 different things happened

Through RJ45 it goes till 96% and tells "Socket error # 0" which is supposed to be related to a LAN problem but everything else is running perfectly on my LAN network (even CCCam before I got the idea of flashing it :( ). The 96 other percents seems to go perfetly and I can see the green light (traffic)

Through the Null cable only it goes for 2 hours till 100% and does nothing, no flashing is done message.. I waited half hour and rebooted it, no image running... I'm currently trying again but it is at 80% right now still waiting (hopefully it will work this time).

Have you got an idea?

And I don't really understand the second stage bootloader thing, why my SIM is 2.10 and on the no CA Found Repair tool it's supposed to be on DM800SE ?

It didn't work... I let the computer on all night because it was on "Finalizing stage 2... Please wait" and I waited like 8 hours, nothing happened.

Have you got an idea?

I think you have some bad sectors on your box ....
So try to flash New image by using (Fix Bad Sector "Sectors Recovery")

Also try to display your anti virus tools because maybe blocking optiflasher, if issue still try another pc another win (Xp better),
Don't shut down box off if optiflasher progress flashing not finish, leave it until complete flash ..

Sooo..
I tried again with "Sectors recovery" it took 2 hours and stayed for 2 hours again on Finalizing stage 2 so I decided to try the other way.

It's waaay faster and it worked, the only problem is now that the BlackHole 1.7.0 image that I choose doesn't boot, it stays at "Dream Multimedia booting...". Should I try with another image?

And the SIM 2.01 loader 84b isn't a problem? I've got a SIM 2.10 but when I did the No CA found repair it installed me 2.01 as I've got only a DM800HD (not SE)... Can I install the SIM 2.10 loader 84b through Telnet>Sectors Recovery>then by LAN? If I can I didn't found a .nfi just for the bootloader, if you have a link for it it would be perfect (I can only find images on the net!).

Look Sim2.01 is the same Sim2.10 but this one is newest product but have one bootloader ssl84B ...But use this one last ssl84D this you can run new images OE2.0..

1-Flash SSl84D
2-Close box
3-open box and see is bootloader update or you have No Ca Found?

If update then flash new image OE2.0 patched image for sim2 not original ..

If you get No Ca found then make photo from both sides of sim and upload it here ...I want to confirm it to you ...

Ok thanks a lot I'll try it in the morning.
I've also read on the internet that if you boot without dvi cable it can get stuck on booting on the "b" and it's exactly my problem so I'll try first this solution because maybe everything is good.

Thaaaanks a lot !!!

I flashed the bootloader SSL84d then a TSImage-84d but the CCCam wasn't installed and I had a lot of trouble with it and then I installed OpenPli3.0-84d and it works like a charm !

You can close the topic, one of the many other successfully repaired dreamboxes!
