Connected with USB (from computer) to mini usb (back of Dreambox) and via Lan through switch/hub
I'm having a big problem getting my 800SE with an A8P sim working. I followed NEPZSMILER's thread as it seemed I had the same problem.
Before the error, everything was working with OpenPLi 2.1 until I flashed Dream-Elite-dm800se-4-0-v001r003-ramiMAHER and got the error 'R01: NO CA FOUND'. I've followed your tutorial to the letter but get the following error message:
Power ON DB Device [ESC to Abort]
DM800HD SE Detected !
Dreambox Detected...Ok!
Sending Flash Loader...
Second Stage OK!
Boot Success & Ready For Job Process!
I/O error 6

...then the front of my 800SE shows the 'SIM 2&4' boot logo with '*** SERIAL SETUP' mode and ip: 192.168.1.77, even though i am using an A8P sim.
If i then open a browser page (i've tried both IE10 and Firefox) and enter 'http://192.168.1.77', the Bootloader Web Interface page opens. However, when i try to flash the boot loader 'secondstage-dm800-84.nfi' nothing happens. In fact, whatever setting i use on Optiflasher, i get the SIM 2&4 boot logo with the ip page and still nothing will flash. I've tried with the LAN connected and then not connected. Nothing will work.
I've even tried taking out the A8P sim too, as in NEPZSMILER's post, but this also doesn't work. Am i right in thinking that i take the sim out and put it straight back in without turning the 800SE on?
Anyway, any help will be much appreciated...
