yesterday I had download the DreamBox-OptiFlasher-Pro-E2-v2.0.0c_0.exe

and I had download original firmware release-dm800-3.2.2.nfi from [Only registered and activated users can see links You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.]

After Flashing, I had reboot my unit and my unit cannot reboot any more, it report error1: "No CA Found", please contact [Only registered and activated users can see links You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.]

Then I would like to re-flash, but I cannot re-flash again the error message for optiflasher is "Wrong Boot reponse"

My unit data is as below,

1. DM800 HD PVR
2. Original / Genuine
3. SIM ---> I don't know what it is and please help inform how to recoqnized from my unit, I did not find in the manual or on the box
4. ERRO1: No Ca Found After Flash image

Can anyone help me to solve this problem and your help would be very appreciated

the Procedure I make,
1. I flashed with new Secondstage Bootloader "dreambox-secondstage_84-r0_dm800.ipk"
2. after Flashed, the unit show "ERRO1: No Ca Found After Flash image"
3. I download optiflasher and repair & downgrade the bootloader to DM800-SIM2.01-ssl76C and succeed
4. I reboot my DM800 and I show stop mode and the IP is 192.168.1.77 but my subnet router DHCP subnet is 192.168.60.**
5. I tried to upgrade the firmware "release-dm800-3.2.2.nfi" with network capable, but not succeed so I disable network upgrade and use only Null modem Cable
6. after wait for 6 hour the indicator 100%, but the command is flashing **2 (I forget **) and Do Job return to normal, but It did not show succeed or not, then try had reboot, after reboot the unit still show error, then I would like to reflash the firmware or bootloader, but it is impossible because I always had error "Wrong Boot Response"

Remove your sim card & put it back then try with "Advanced mode2" !
About Flashing with advanced mode1 RS232+LAN if you have a problem with ip try use RG45 cross over cable & use similar settings to the atachement .

Please inform what is the SIM Card? I am newbie and just bought the DM800, I did not install anything yet, but HDD only.

I had remove the simcard and Re-insert it without power on, my simcard is SIM2.01

After installed back, I tried it, and it is the same error "Wrong Boot Response", please help inform step by step instruction

Hope that my unit is not dead, my unit alive only for 1 week, I think when upgrade firmware not succeed that make my unit problem
as my explanation above

Your sim is 201 not original "multimedia"
So try to flash sim201 bootloader..
Use "Flashing by Null modem cable only without Network lan" method from this link

and choose Repair option then select bootloader for dm800

I had tried many combination to repair, LD1 & LD2 with Null Model Cable Only (advance mode 2)

I still get error "Wrong Boot Response", optiflash cannot connect or veryfied with the unit but Optiflasher can detect it is "DM800HD", is there any other ways to solve problem?


I saw another thread using Hyperterminal, please inform how to set, what is
- the baud rate: 9600 bps? or others
- how many databits, 7 or 8 bits?
- what is the parity, Even or Odd?
- what is the stop bit, 1 or 2?
- what is the flowcontrols? Hardware, Software or None?

I just received link your beta software and download, after testing nothing happend when I power on DM800, it just kept waiting and do not even recoqnized DM800

Try with another pc another win and also make sure your null cable work fine...
And do this:
Right click on my computer---properties---Device manager---Ports (Com & LPT)---right click on communication port (comxx)---properties---port settings--pits per seconds
And try to change number from 9600 to 115200

1. I had tried wiht my Destop which running win7 6x professional, failed
2. I had tried with my laptop which running win7 home 64x, failed
3. Your comment "Your sim is 201 not original multimedia", please explain what does it mean, should I used LD1 or LD2?
4. Each person only get 1 license, If I would test with other computer with other operating system Xp etc., but I run out of registration key, what should I do now

1-If you box original must be sim original written on sim "multimedia", As you said your sim is sim201 so your box clone or maybe original but changed sim from original to 201...
2-If you want to try optiflasher on any pc ؤopy the folder with all contents from pc to pc not just optiflasher.exe...
3-LD1 it is loader for Clone box and LD2 for Genuine box..but try both loader..
........
Now try this advice...
1-Flash you box with this SSl84b by Advanced Mode 2

Now I realized why my Unit cannot flashed with original firmware when using DreamUp 1.3.3.9, my supplier cheated me with original box but clone SIM
After I used Optiflash, I had succeed to flash firmware SSI84, then I flashed with original firmware the result did not show succeed information, but the indicator bar show 100% and "Do Job" button back to normal mode (black color, not gray color)
After reboot, my unit Show Erro1: CA not found, then my unit cannot start even I cannot flash the boot room, the Optiflasher show

After Failed trying optiflash official version with all combination, then I tried Modified version, but optiflash cannot recoqnize my unit, it is kept waiting to plug the power which actually I already plug in the power

Then I tried to connect with hypter therminal

After few time testing with optiflasher then I use hyperterminal again, the result even make my unit worst, the Graphical menu was erased and the display show nothing (Blank or black up), the report is as below

Second stage loader wasn't found. Don't panic - it's not a (real) problem.
You don't need to repair your Dreambox. It just means that the flashrom with
the graphical menu was erased. You can restore this with a tool like DreamUp
with serial access.
