1-You can not flash images of DM800se to DM800HD
2-You can not use sim of DM800se in DM800HD

So...
Do not waste your time in your in fantasies, just trying to fix your box as I explained to you..

Good evening Fairbird,
I read, read and re-read, but I have solved my DM800HD se. I installed Windows XP on my other notebook but without result. I ran the tool NCF but even that did not work. Tell me in the meantime if the steps that I have right:
1) connect the DM (off) to the notebook, the notebook detects COM-4;
2) launch the tool NCF and I detect port, select COM 4;
I select the DM800se 2:10 SSL 84d (this should be
that of 'image I uploaded OpenPLi 4.0);
3) I click start;
4) insert the power cable to the DM and I turn the key ON

Now, nothing happens at all. I do not understand where wrong. !!!!!!!
definitely tell me to use Optiflasher, but my Key is on my first notebook, I can also buy another license, but would like to solve this problem. It is now a matter of pique.
I also read in the forum of a VIP support ??, I could request it ??

You have Clone box sim2...
So you can use optiflasher without Key, you can select com and loader normally...
Use optiflasher more better then NCF ...

It may be helpful to you to know details to figure out my problem:


condition (A)


1) [Optiflasher not started]

connect the mini-USB cable, DM800HD se, my laptop detects [Silicon Labs CP210xUSB to UART Bridge (COM4)];


condition (B)


1) [Optiflasher start]

connect the mini-USB cable to DM800HD se Optiflasher tells me: [device detect COM1];


Why?

could this be my problem??

2) I put and CP210 drivers for serial/USB cable.

3) how Advance mod 2;

4) bought new mini-USB cable


absolutely nothing.

I stopped at: [POWER ON DB DEVICE]-[ESC TO ABORT]


Tell me that I must do more!!!!!!, take the hammer???????
