Sim 2.01
error!

i try to flash with optiflasher pro with the rs232/usb or lan (advanced mode 1) option
But upload failed at about 90% and get me an error socket :

and after i have: "error!" on my DM800
when i try to flash in rs232 only (sector recovery), the upload is ok but no flash appears i wait hours and hours nothing happen.
have you an idee?

If you want to use (sector recovery) option try to flash small image around (45MB) ...
Or try first to flash bootloader with (sector recovery) then try to flash image normally ..

check also your connection..

when i try to flash bootloader with (sector recovery)
the phase 2 begin but never go after just wait....
i will try an small image now

with your other method when i try to open telnet myip the window open and close immediatly

and with a smaller image (about 43 mb)
nothing happened
but the images smaller are on lower ssl such as 75 or 76
if my ssl is 84d can i reflash to an older ssl
all images on ssl 84d are biger than 45mb :(

No problem bigger or smaller (I'm just advised to you flash small image)

For old bootloader just flash any bootloader or any image include old bootloader then your box back to old bootloader...

I think you have problem on connection ... Maybe from PC try another pc (win xp) better and try also another RS232 cable or lan cable ..

well I don't understand...
i have make test at work with another pc (in win xp )
another lan cable and another rs232 cable
same problems and same errors anytime
is my DM800 out of order? :(

Maybe you have hardware problem ... Maybe from sim maybe from box...

Take it to technician ...
