NO CA FOUND, DM800, Clone, Sim? - moxz - 04-18-2012 -DM800 -Clone -Sim 1.0 T-1 (Maybe, see my problem desscription) Problem Description and what I have done so far. Hi, I got a hold of a box that I thought maybe I could fix. After hours and hours I am on the verge of giving up thinking it is a hardware problem or something in that line. The problem is when powering on the box it gives me the NO CA FOUND error display message. One big problem here is that I don't perssonaly know what kind of simcard is in the box. I have taken it out and looked at it and put it back in several times. I matched it to sim 1.0 T-1 but that could be wrong it looks like the blank sim in the picture attached to the post. This is what I get when connecting with terminal to the box via serial interface. © 2007,2008 Dream Multimedia GmbH. All rights reserved. Dreambox DM800 FIRST STAGE 1.00 {BO23456} 2ND STAGE OK, build #76 (20100419) 0.000 - BCM board setup {00000126,00000126,00000125,00000124,00000123,00000133} 0.007 - fp init 0.008 - ca init CA invalid OLED found! NO CONFIGURATION DATA PRESENT. STOP. * ERR01: NO CA FOUND So I have tried with different methods of re-flashing but everything fails for me. Tested DreamUP_patched_by_forhike_and_natas all different 3 methods provided in that documentation. Tested NCF SIM2 v2.5 booth with the sim included and whit a 2.01 T-2 sim from a working clone. Both sims gives me "Wrong Boot response" message in NFC program. Tested DreamBox-OptiFlasher also gives me the same error message as NFC. So anyone has any thoughts? Is the box totally wasted or is there still hope? I have probably missed some information you need or left something out that I have tried. RE: NO CA FOUND, DM800, Clone, Sim? - fairbird - 04-18-2012 Is the color of your card, all white? open box and remove sim then see anythings else (Better take two pictures from both sides and upload here) to make clear and you get correctly solve. RE: NO CA FOUND, DM800, Clone, Sim? - moxz - 04-18-2012 Here are the pictures of the simcard: You did see that also had tried with another simcard that is working in another box a sim 2.01 T-2 and that it gave the same result and errors as this sim. RE: NO CA FOUND, DM800, Clone, Sim? - fairbird - 04-18-2012 I think your sim as like my sim=sim1.. Ok now try with (HyperTerminal) go in your pc to star->all programes->Accessories->Communications->HyperTerminal Click it and put in first windows name (dreambox) and second windows select correct port in (connect using) and do this settings: 115200 8 none 1 Xon/Xoff click ok ..then turn on power to your box ...take the information from HyperTerminal and put here.. RE: NO CA FOUND, DM800, Clone, Sim? - moxz - 04-18-2012 You allready have that information in my first post but here it is again --> © 2007,2008 Dream Multimedia GmbH. All rights reserved. NO CONFIGURATION DATA PRESENT. STOP. * ERR01: NO CA FOUND then it stops. RE: NO CA FOUND, DM800, Clone, Sim? - fairbird - 04-18-2012 Here show bootloader 76 and thoes pitcures for your sim as like sim1 or may sim2 not sim201..so we want to know exactly what sim you have and what bootloader... So do this use DreamBox-OptiFlasher-Pro-E2-v1.0.9b with network and cable and use advanced option select com and do job strat your box when showing ip in front border put it in web page and click enter then click info option and see what bootloader web page give you? And is necessary to remember what image that you are using and what is the image that caused the problem to you RE: NO CA FOUND, DM800, Clone, Sim? - moxz - 04-18-2012 I donĀ“t follow you. After I start the program I choose advanced and detect port choose com1 that is my com interface. Then you say job start but the only option i have is do job and that i can't choose since i havent choosen what job to do. So what job should i choose? Or am i misunderstanding. RE: NO CA FOUND, DM800, Clone, Sim? - fairbird - 04-18-2012 choose anything that is not important because we will not complete the process only want to connect to the browser RE: NO CA FOUND, DM800, Clone, Sim? - moxz - 04-18-2012 Ah ok, Well the problem is that it never show any ip address on the display. The only thing showing on the display is Dream Multimedia -> error ! look atwww.dm7020.com ( ERR01: NO CA FOUND. This is the only thing showing in the display after i started the job and in Optiflasher it show --> Power ON DB Device [ESC to Abort] DM800HD Detected ! Wrong Boot Response! RE: NO CA FOUND, DM800, Clone, Sim? - fairbird - 04-18-2012 Ok..But you not answer my what image that you had used before and what image caused the problem |
