Sim card missing - elmtree - 10-18-2015
Hi all, I have a pre-owned DM500HD V.2, only got it this week. When I opened it up, I saw this..
the box boots up & runs but I can't use DCC or OPTIflash to connect. Current O/S (E2 + ssl#89 + TSimage 3.0).
The thing is there was no SIM card, No SIM card mount, but a chip with a yellow dot within the footprint of the SIM mount position.
Idea's on a post card Pls.
any insight would be much appreciated.

Thank for the reply fairbird.
I thought all Dreambox's {clone or genuine} had a Sim card.
Do you think I may have a genuine Dreambox from the picture?

I managed to flash to the Dream Multi genuine image via Dream-up (genuine). Looks like the box is genuine.
I can't believe it. I'm over the moon!!! for £92. Christmas has come early after all.!!
OK I'm going to get my network mounts set up.

OLD boxes V1 have Sim card ..
New boxes V2 (such as your box) New hardware and motherboard doesn't have sim card
