Hi there.
I have a dm800 HD se, sim 2.10 clone and is dead.The display is dead also.only thing that shows some sign of life is a green LED on the circuit

Is there any hope to get it back to working?

nothing,the small lcd display is dead also,neither the blue led(power),only one green and one red led lights up on the circut board

Ok try to flash new image for your sim2.10 and use "3-Fix Bad Sector "Sectors Recovery" from here
